Pleasant Avenue, also known Block 170.02, Lot 5.01 (Gross) On motion made by Councilwoman Ghebremicael Council President Williams and seconded by Council President Williams, the consent agenda was approved. All members present voting “Aye.” Resolution(s) Removed from the Consent Agenda Resolution 248-23 Resolution Commemorating the 250th Anniversary of the Establishment of the United States as an Independent Nation, and Authorizes the Appointment of a Committee to Develop a Plan for this Commemoration that will Promote the Maximum Involvement of Our Residents, Neighborhoods, Businesses, Schools, Civic Organizations, and Institutions in the Commemorations (Legal-Moon) A motion was made by Councilwoman Ghebremicael and Councilman Rutherford to recommend that each Council Member have their own appointment to the Committee. All members present voting “Aye.” There was no motion offered for approval of the above referenced resolution, therefore the resolution failed to pass. Resolution 257-23 Resolution Authorizing an Executive Session for the Purpose of Discussing Litigation Specifically Italian American One Voice Coalition v. Township of West Orange, et al. (Legal-Trenk) On motion made by Council President Williams and seconded by Councilwoman Casalino, the motion failed. Councilwoman Casalino and Council President Williams voting “Aye.” Councilwoman Ghebremicael, Councilman Rutherford and Councilwoman Scarpa voting “Nay.” Resolution 258-23 Resolution Authorizing An Amendment To A Deed Reversion Per NJSA 40:60-51.2 For 46 Mt. Pleasant Avenue (Block 68, Lot 1.01) As Housing For Low- And Moderate-Income Senior Citizens (D. Ritter) A motion to amend the language was made by Council President Williams and seconded by Councilwoman Casalino. All members voting “Aye.” A motion to approve was made by Council President Williams and seconded by Councilwoman Casalino. 5
