Show all pagesOn motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Councilwoman Ghebremicael, An Ordinance Amending and Supplement Chapter 25 of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange Banning “POP-UP” Parties was approved on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on October 29, 2024. Councilwoman Casalino, Councilwoman Ghebremicael, and Councilwoman Scarpa voting “Aye.” Councilwoman Williams and Council President Rutherford voting “Nay.” Pending Matters/New Matters/Council Discussion ¢ Forensic Audit « CCRB On motion made by Council President Rutherford and seconded by Councilwoman Ghebremicael, Harry Almodovar was nominated to serve on the CCRB. Councilwoman Ghebremicael and Council President Rutherford voting “Aye.” Councilwoman Casalino, Councilwoman Scarpa and Councilwoman Williams voting “Nay.” The motion failed. On motion made by Councilwoman Scarpa and seconded by Councilwoman Casalino, Lewis Abrams was nominated to serve on the CCRB. Councilwoman Casalino, Councilwoman Scarpa and Councilwoman Williams voting “Aye.” Councilwoman Ghebremicael and Council President Rutherford voting “Nay.” The motion was approved. e Red lining of Ordinances On motion made by Councilwoman Scarpa and seconded by Councilwoman Ghebremicael, the Council requested a revision in “Chapter 3 — Rules of Council” to require that red-lined versions of ordinances are provided to the Council in color. All members present voting “Aye.” At approximately 10:27 p.m. on motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Council President Rutherford, the Council entered into an Executive Session. All members present voting “Aye.” The Municipal Clerk left the meeting at this time. At approximately 11:19 p.m., on motion made by Councilwoman Williams and seconded by Councilwoman Casalino, the executive session was adjourned. All members present voting “Aye.” On motion made by Councilwoman Williams and seconded by Council President Rutherford, the Council entered into their Council meeting. All members present voting “Aye.”
