On motion made by Councilwoman Ghebremicael and seconded by Council President Krakoviak the motion on the above referenced resolution FAILED. Councilwoman Ghebremicael and Council President Krakoviak voting “Aye.” Councilwoman Casalino, Councilwoman Rudin, and Councilwoman Scarpa voting “Nay.” 123-25 Resolution for the Township of West Orange, County of Essex, State of New Jersey, Approving the Corrective Action Plan for the Calendar Year Ending December 31, 2023 (Ditinyak) On motion made by Councilwoman Rudin and seconded by Councilwoman Scarpa, the above referenced resolution was approved, All members present voting “Aye.” 125-25 Resolution Authorizing an Executive Session for the Purpose of Discussing Contract Negotiations -USS, Department of Education Lease — 10 Rooney Circle A motion was made by Council President Krakoviak and seconded by Councilwoman Casalino, to TABLE the above referenced resolution. All members present voting “Aye.” Ordinance(s) on Second and Final Reading Ord. 2905-25 On motion made by Councilwoman Ghebremicael and seconded by Councilwoman Scarpa, An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter 28 and Establishing Sections of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange Regarding a Lawn Care Registry was taken up on second and final reading. Councilwoman Ghebremicael, Councilwoman Rudin, Councilwoman Scarpa and. Council President Krakoviak voting “Aye.” Councilwoman Casalino voting “Nay.” The Council President stated that this is the scheduled time for the public hearing and asked the Clerk to read the ordinance by title only. The Council President asked if there was anyone who wished to be heard. Micaela Bennett — Old Indian Road There was no one else that wished to be heard and the public hearing on this Ordinance was closed. There were no motions made on the second reading, therefore, the ordinance failed to pass. Ord, 2906-25 On motion made by Councilwoman Ghebremicael and seconded by Councilwoman Rudin, An Ordinance Amending Chapter 10 to Add a New Section of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange Regarding Single-Use Bathrooms was taken up on second and final reading. Councilwoman Ghebremicael, Councilwoman Rudin and Councilwoman Scarpa voting “Aye.” Councilwoman Casalino and Council President Krakoviak voting “Nay.”
