All members present voting “Aye.” Ord, 2934-25 On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Council President Krakoviak, An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter 7, Traffic, Subsection 7-32.2 Restricted Parking Zones of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange, was approved on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on August 12, 2025. All members present voting “Aye.” Ord. 2935-25 A motion was made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Councilwoman Rudin to revise Section IL, letter ‘c’ to read as follows: Some form of formal space delineation which is aesthetically pleasing, such as a removable fence, shall be required in a parking lot or on sidewalks All members present voting “Aye.” A motion was made by Councilwoman Rudin and seconded by Councilwoman Casalino to revise Section II, letter ‘m’ to read as follows: Whenever amplified sound or music is being played inside an establishment with an outdoor cafe or sidewalk cafe, all doors must be solid, not storm or screen, and windows that open to the outside sidewalk or outdoor café shall remain closed, except as necessary for entry and exit. All members present voting “Aye.” On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Councilwoman Rudin, An Ordinance Amending Chapter 25, Section 11.10 Regarding Outdoor Cafes, was approved, as amended, on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading after Planning Board review, at a date to be determined.
