Thank you.5 CHAIRMAN BAGOFF: Okay. Your time is up.6 Thank you very much.7 Thank you, sir.8 Any other members of the public have9 questions?10 THE PUBLIC: Hi. Good evening. Maxine11 Bock, Bakley Terrace.12 So when our homes were built the developer13 put in the sewer lines that would handle 20 or 21 homes14 on our street. In your expertise would an additional15 500 homes that this developer is proposing, would the16 sewer lines that connect to Bakley be adequate to handle17 that?18 CHAIRMAN BAGOFF: I'm sorry, he didn't19 testify to that and I don't think that his expertise is20 there. He was talking is there a connection. He's21 testifying is there a connection or is there not a22 connection.23 THE PUBLIC: Well, would the connection be24 adequate to hold it?25 90 CHAIRMAN BAGOFF: That's a different1 question. He didn't testify to that.2 THE WITNESS: Somebody has to do that3 engineering design. I just don't see how it's going to4 be connected and I looked at the volume, it was like5 73,000 somewhat gallons and that just comes from how6 much water goes into the facility they assume that's7 going out.8 MR. PLOCKER: Mr. Chairman, he testified he9 wasn't aware of the connection.10 MR. AFRAN: No, he said specifically that11 he's looked at the plans and didn't see one. And I'd12 appreciate if Mr. Plocker would not editorialize the13 witnesses statement.14 MR. PLOCKER: I did not editorialize them.15 He said he didn't see one. I agree with that, maybe he16 should have looked closer, Bruce.17 MR. AFRAN: He didn't see one is not the18 same as saying he is not aware. The suggestion Mr.19 Plocker's making is that the witness doesn't know. The20 witness said he has reviewed the plans and does not see21 this in the plans.22 CHAIRMAN BAGOFF: Okay. We're arguing over23 semantics. He said he greed, he did not see a24 connection.25 91 MR. AFRAN: Thank you.1 THE PUBLIC: My concern was in addition to2 that when we first moved in, two days after we moved in3 our, what would you say, our sewer line collapsed.4 CHAIRMAN BAGOFF: Ma'am, you're testifying.5 So you may ask him a question about what he said.6 THE PUBLIC: My question was, because of7 that, I am concerned if

ould you say, our sewer line collapsed.4 CHAIRMAN BAGOFF: Ma'am, you're testifying.5 So you may ask him a question about what he said.6 THE PUBLIC: My question was, because of7 that, I am concerned if it's adequate.8 CHAIRMAN BAGOFF: You can ask him.9 THE PUBLIC: Okay. I thank we're done.10 CHAIRMAN BAGOFF: Thank you.11 Please come up and state your name. Three12 minutes.13 THE PUBLIC: Rachel Klein, Howell Drive.14 I just have a question about you said the15 use of a water tower is necessary to get water to this16 development. To these 500 more homes. So my question17 would be, does the water tower have to be taller than18 the tallest building or is that something that we don't19 have to be concerned about? Is that -- I just wanted to20 get an idea of just how high you're talking about this21 additional structure now.22 THE WITNESS: Well, my engineering judgment23 is that it probably would have to be 90-feet in the air.24 Up near the top of the mountain. I believe it's going25 92 to have to -- the way I looked at it, it would have to1 be 90 feet in the air. I don't know exactly how big it2 has to be. That's a whole other study that somebody has3 to do. I just looked at the fact that there wasn't any4 provision for how water was going to be supplied up5 there and what the volumes were going to be. I didn't6 see anything indicating that that was looked at. Maybe7 there's another study these guys got that I didn't see,8 but I didn't see any plans. But that's what I came up9 with. You got to get it up high enough to get pressure10 to the upper floor. Everything else below would be11 fine, it would be more pressure. That's, you know, and12 this is a passive way of getting pressure in the event13 that the electrical power goes off and you can't pump it14 up there to get pressure. That could easily happen, we15 got plenty of electrical storms. It only take one to16 knock out the power and you got nothing. An now you17 need the water for fire protection and I like to take a18 shower.19 THE PUBLIC: 100 percent. And 90-feet,20 that's taller then 75-feet, right?21 THE WITNESS: What's that?22 THE PUBLIC: You just said because of the23 height limit that they have agreed to the 75-feet.24 90-feet's taller, right?25
