All members present voting “Aye.” On motion made by Councilwoman Rudin and seconded by Council President Scarpa, the above referenced ordinance was adopted. Councilwoman Casalino, Councilman Krakoviak, Councilwoman Rudin and Council President Scarpa voting “Aye.” Councilwoman Williams voting “Nay.” Ordinances of First Reading Ord. 2949-26 On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Councilwoman Scarpa, An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter 7, Traffic, Article 2 Subsection 7-37.1 Regulation for the Movement and Parking on Municipal and Board of Education Property of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange, was approved on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on February 10, 2026. All members present voting “Aye.” Ord. 2950-26 On motion made by Councilwoman Williams and seconded by Council President Scarpa, An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter 7, Traffic, Subsection 7-32.2 Restricted Parking Zones of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange, was approved on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on February 10, 2026. Councilwoman Casalino, Councilman Krakoviak, Councilwoman Williams and Council President Scarpa voting “Aye.” Councilwoman Rudin voting “Nay.” Ord. 2951-26 A motion was made by Councilwoman Williams and seconded by Council President Scarpa, to approve An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter 7, Traffic, Subsections 7-7.3 Temporary Parking Prohibition for Snow Plowing and Removal, and 7-14.1¢c Night Parking Restricted, of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange. Councilwoman Casalino, Councilwoman Rudin, Councilwoman Williams and Council President Scarpa voting “Aye.” Councilman Krakoviak voting “Nay.” After further discussion, a motion to reconsider was made by Councilwoman Rudin and seconded by Councilwoman Williams. All members present voting “Aye.” The clerk requested a motion to introduce the item on first reading; however, no motion was offered, and the item FAILED for lack of action.
