The Council President asked if there was anyone who wished to be heard. There was no one that wished to be heard and the public hearing on this Ordinance. On motion made by Councilwoman Williams and seconded by Council President Scarpa, the public hearing was closed. All members present voting “Aye.” On motion made by Councilwoman Williams and seconded by Councilwoman Casalino, the above referenced ordinance was adopted. Councilwoman Casalino, Councilman Krakoviak, Councilwoman Williams and Council President Scarpa voting “Aye.” Councilwoman Rudin voting “Nay.” Ordinances of First Reading Ord. 2970-26 On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Councilwoman Williams, An Ordinance Amending And Supplementing Chapter 7, Traffic, Subsection 7-29.1, Speed Limits In General, Of The Revised General Ordinances Of The Township Of West Orange, was approved on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on May 12, 2026, All members present voting “Aye.” Ord, 2971-26 On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Council President Scarpa, 26 An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter 7, “Traffic,” Section 32.2, “Restricted Parking Zones,” Of the Municipal Code of the Township of West Orange, was approved on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on May 12, 2026. All members present voting “Aye.” Ord. 2972-26 On motion made by Councilwoman Williams and seconded by Council President Scarpa, Calendar Year 2026 Ordinance to Exceed the Municipal Budget Appropriation Limits and to Establish a Cap Bank (N.J.S.A. 40a: 4-45.14), was approved on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on May 12, 2026.
