4-10 Agreement

PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT Agreement made as of January 5, 2010 by and between the Township of West Orange (“Township”) and Shirley M. Bishop, P.P. (“the Consultant”). WHEREAS, the Township is authorized by statute to appoint consultants and the Consultant has agreed to continue to serve as a housing consultant to the Township pursuant to law and a professional services agreement has been authorized by resolution of the Township. NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed as follows: 1. Retainer. The Township retains the Consultant, and the Consultant agrees to continue to provide housing consulting services to the Township in accordance with this agreement. 2. Scope of Services. The Consultant will assist the Township in implementing substantive certification of its Housing Element and Fair Share Plan. 3. Compensation. The compensation of the Consultant shall be at the rate of $150.00 per hour for 2010, not to exceed $20,000. The Consultant shall also be reimbursed for actual out-of-pocket expenses for travel, postage, duplication and communications.
