34-10 February 9, 2010 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange (the “Township”) in their efforts in performing property revaluation seeks to retain the services of Revaluation Advisory Services, LLC, (“Revaluation Advisory Services”), a company with a place of business at 105 Stephanie Drive, North Caldwell, New Jersey 07006; and WHEREAS, in a proposal dated February 3, 2010, Revaluation Advisory Services indicated that it could provide the following services to the Township: (i) review three revaluation proposals received by the Township; (ii) provide professional advice to the committee members as required; (iii) prepare final weighting checklist based upon the committees ranking of same; and (iv) prepare draft evaluation report for the committee’s review; and WHEREAS, per the terms of the proposal provided by Revaluation Advisory Services, the cost of providing the above mentioned services will total $2,500; and WHEREAS, total price of the contract falls below the threshold set by the New Jersey Pay-to-Play Statute and the Local Public Contracts Law; and WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer of the Township has certified as to the availability of funds for retention of Revaluation Advisory Services; NOW, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE that the Township be and is hereby authorized to retain Revaluation Advisory Services, LLC to provide the above referenced services to the Township at a cost not to exceed $2,500; and it is further RESOLVED, that notice of this professional services contract shall be advertised and available in accordance with applicable law.
