152-10 June 15, 2010 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, The Township of West Orange Police Department has been offered an opportunity to participate in the Over The Limit Under Arrest 2010 Statewide Crackdown Grant which is a statewide impaired driving enforcement grant program, WHEREAS, The Township of West Orange Police Department has received notification that the Department has been approved for funding by the Division of Highway Traffic Safety in the amount of $4,400.00, WHEREAS, This grant is a reimbursement grant, meaning that the Department will incur the costs of this enforcement effort and then submit documentation to the Division for reimbursement, WHEREAS, The Township will fund enforcement patrols which will work during hours specified in the grant application during an enforcement period of August 20 – September 6, 2010 for which the Township will be reimbursed. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange, that $4,400.00 will be appropriated to fund this enforcement effort and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a true copy of the notice of funding will be kept on file for inspection by the public.
