163-10 June 29, 2010 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, the Daughters of Israel Geriatric Services of 1155 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange, New Jersey, Block 171, Lot 12 posted bonds totaling $43,078.80 with the Township of West Orange to guarantee the installation of certain parking lot improvements associated with their site plan approval; and WHEREAS , the bonds consisting of ten percent in cash or $4,307.88 and a surety bond in the amount $38,770.92 guaranteed the installation of 1,024 linear feet of curb, 2,162 square yards of pavement and striping of a parking area; and WHEREAS , by letter dated June 23, 2010 the Municipal Engineer reported all the improvements were installed to his Department’s satisfaction and the improvements may be approved and all bonds released; and WHEREAS , based on the foregoing report of the Municipal Engineer the Township Council concurs with his recommendation. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange that the parking lot improvements associated with a site plan for the Daughters of Israel Geriatric Services, 1155 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange, New Jersey be approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all bonds posted with the Township to assure the completion of the site improvements be released which includes $4,307.88 in cash and a surety bond issued by Universal Bonding Insurance Company of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, Bond No. UU -0209617 in the amount of $38,770.92.
