223-10 August 17, 2010 RESOLUTION 2010-2011 HVAC SERVICE and MAINTENANCE WHEREAS, pursuant to the Local Public Contract Law 40A:11-1 etc., an advertisement was placed on June 10, 2010 for a company to provide HVAC Service and Maintenance Contact for a 12 month period from September 1, 2010 through August 31, 2011; and WHEREAS, at the place, date and time advertised six (6) companies did submit bids; and WHEREAS, the company with the lowest hourly rate was reviewed by the Department of Public Works and the Purchasing Agent to be a responsive and responsible bidder in accordance with the Townships specifications. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange that the HVAC Service and Maintenance Contract be awarded to Burlew Mechanical, LLC, 59 W. Front Street, Keyport, NJ 07735 in the amount not too exceed $36,000. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Business Administrator is hereby authorized to arrange to pay for said service with the terms of a purchase order on behalf of the Township of West Orange from funds Certified Available by the Chief Financial Officer. ________________________________ _____________________________ Karen J.
