Show all pagesGrant Application for State Aid to Counties and Municipalities Municipal Aid 2011 MA-2011-West Orange Town Township-00220 Roadway_Preservation Scope of Work Belle Terre Road (Pleasant Valley Way to Coolidge Avenue) & Roosevelt Avenue (Belle Terre Road to Lincoln Avenue) Belle Terre Road is a penetration macadam road that was resurfaced once by the Township about ten plus years ago because no State aid was available. It is now deteriorated and needs to be reconstructed with a new full depth pavement. There is no storm water collection system on this road and only some curbs. This street is in need of a storm sewer system and a new full depth pavement. New inlets will be constructed with Bicycle Safe Grates. New curbs are needed on this road to control the surface runoff. This section of Roosevelt Avenue is also a penetration macadam road and needs new curbs and new full depth pavement. It is one part of Roosevelt Avenue that was not improved with the other sections. No new storm sewer system is needed on this section of this road. Approximately 3,160 L.F. of Granite Block Curb; 5,266 S.Y. of Dense Graded Aggregate, 4" Thick; 695 Tons of Superpave HMA Surface Course, 2" Thick; and 1,390 Tons of HMA Base Course, 4" Thick will be constructed on this project. Driveways will be reconstructed where needed.
