{00592337.DOC} 269-10 October 12, 2010 RESOLUTION APPOINTING SPECIAL LABOR COUNSEL WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange has established a list of vendors to provide professional services through a fair and open process pursuant to the Pay to Play Statute, N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq.; and WHEREAS, Scarinci Hollenbeck is a professional services firm on that list, and the Township of West Orange seeks to appoint this firm as special labor counsel; and WHEREAS, this law firm will review existing collective bargaining agreements, tables of organization and other employment issues to identify potential strategies to reduce inefficiencies and to maximize potential budgetary savings. NOW LET IT BE RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange that Scarinci Hollenbeck shall be appointed for a professional services contract to commence on October 13, 2010 through December 31, 2010 for an hourly rate of One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) per hour, to a maximum not to exceed Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00). LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED THAT, the Council President and Township Clerk shall be authorized to execute a contract for these services. __________________________________ ____________________________________ Karen J.
