318-10 December 14, 2010 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Township Council of the Township of West Orange seeks to retain a consultant to assist the Township to prepare comprehensive Zoning Ordinance Amendments (Chapter 25 of the West Orange Land Use Regulations) and, WHEREAS, Phillips Preiss Shapiro Grygiel Associates, Inc. ("Paul Grygiel"), with a place of business at 33-41 Newark Street, Hoboken, NJ, provides such desired consulting services ; and WHEREAS, such consultant services constitutes a professional service; and WHEREAS, Paul Gryiel qualifies to contract with the Township under the requirements set forth under all New Jersey Pay-to-Play Statute; and WHEREAS, the terms of the Agreement with Paul Grygiel (the 'Agreement') are set forth in the contract attached herein as Attachment "A"; WHEREAS, per the terms of the Agreement Paul Grygiel will receive compensation in the amount of $20,000; and NOW, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE that the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute all documents necessary to effectuate the Agreement on the terms set forth herein, and the Municipal Clerk is hereby authorized to. attest-to the. Mayor's signature; _and ..it is further RESOLVED, that the original of the contract between the Township of West Orange and Paul Grygiel Inc. shall be maintained in the Municipal Clerk's office.
