Show all pagesps el ACS Anderson Consulting Services LLC Culvert Design The roadway to Building D crosses a small stream, and the roadway design includes a culvert designed to convey the runoff from the drainage area upstream of the culvert. The stream has a drainage area of 18 acres, so no FHA permit is required by NDEP. The crossing does have to meet the standards for riparian zone disturbance, and this is the subject of our NJDEP application. The culvert capacity has been designed to convey the flow through the culvert with 1 foot of freeboard for the 100-year storm. Hydrographs and a routing of the flow through the culvert are included in this report. Conclusion The design of the West Essex Highlands Project has been completed in accordance with the court approved resolution with the limiting of the area of disturbance below 30 acres and the inclusion of environmentally friendly designs that are sensitive to the existing environmental constraints. The stormwater design includes green technology for water quantity, quality and seeks to optimize the volume groundwater recharge with green technology. The overall discharge has been conservatively calculated for each drainage basin and overall and meet the discharge standards as required in the state standards and municipal ordinance. 39 Anderson Consulting Services LLC 40 Miller Drive, Boonton, NJ07005 973-975-0703 (O) 973-886-7336 (C) PAndersonpe@gmail.com
