(MTA) for the proposed improvements at the West Orange Switching Station in West Orange, Essex County, New Jersey. The site is located in the northwest quadrant formed by the intersection of Mount Pleasant and Prospect Avenues. The general location of the site is shown on the Site Location Map, Plate 1. Proposed Construction Conceptual information conveyed to us indicates that the existing substation would be expanded and as such, five test borings were performed at locations selected by URS to develop foundation design criteria.
