Show all pageswith the capability of interconnection (wireless interconnection is satisfactory) to the intersection of Eagle Rock Avenue and Laurel Avenue. In addition the existing traffic signal controller at the intersection of Eagle Rock Avenue and Laurel Avenue must be modified or replaced to be capable of interconnection; and new detectorization must be installed at the approaches. The signal controllers at both intersections must also be capable of accommodating the software that can accomplish the signal coordination assumed in the analyses presented in this report. Based on the results of the capacity analyses and assuming the implementation of the aforementioned traffic signal recommendations, the proposed West Essex Residential Development, consisting of 683 apartment units in the ultimate build scenario, will have a minimal impact on traffic in the West Essex Townhouse development and on traffic on Eagle Rock Avenue in the vicinity of Oval Road and Laurel Avenue. 33
