The engineer, Mr. Couvrette, said that they will put up signage and striping for traffic calming measures because there is no room for a sidewalk. PUBLIC COMMENTS • Mr. Darren Tobia at 24 Columbia Street said the lack of pedestrian access is really ill conceived because the danger to pedestrians is not always the speed of a car, it is the visibility of a car and nowadays there are larger cars with larger hoods, which makes it even more difficult to see pedestrians when they are in front of the vehicle.
