Overcrowding and age, plumbing, and kitchen facilities are used to determine housing deficiency. In 2023, over three-quarters (78.6%) of the Townships housing stock relied on utility gas for heating, followed by electricity (12.3%). A total of 430 (2.5%) occupied housing units experienced overcrowding (more than one person per room). Throughout the Township, there were 23 (0.1%) occupied housing units that lacked complete plumbing facilities, and 386 (2.2%) that lacked complete kitchen facilities, and only 78 (0.4%) units lacked telephone service.
