Resolution Township of West Orange Planning Board In the Matter of Tompkins Street Apartments Urban Renewal, LLC Tompkins Street; Block 6, Lot: 36.01; R-M Zone Application #PB-21-04 Decided on May 5, 2021 Memorialized on June 2, 2021 Preliminary and Final Major Site Plan and Variance Approval WHEREAS, Tompkins Street Apartments Urban Renewal, LLC (hereinafter the "Applicant") has made an application for preliminary and final major site plan approval with variances to construct a 17- unit multifamily residential building on a vacant lot owned by the Township of West Orange (the “Township”); and ‘WHEREAS, a public hearing was conducted on May 5, 2021; and WHEREAS, the Applicant was represented by William C. Sullivan, Jr., Esq.; and ‘WHEREAS, the Applicant provided testimony by Mary Johannesen, a professional architect whose credentials were accepted by the Board, David Eareckson, a professional engineer whose credentials were accepted by the Board, Joseph Alpert, the proposed developer and Charles Heydt, a professional planner whose credentials were accepted by the Board; and WHEREAS, the Applicant submitted the following documents to the Board in the form of the application package: Item Signed By Date/Revision Boundary and Topographic Frank J. Schoch, A.LA. 3/10/21 Architectural Renderings (1 Unsigned-Kitchen & 12/16/20 sheet) Associates Justification of Variances Unsigned- Dresdner Robin 4/27/21 report ‘WHEREAS, representatives of the public had an opportunity to ask questions of the witnesses and had an opportunity to offer statements in regard to the application; and WHEREAS, the Board reviewed and considered the application, testimony and documents submitted therewith; and WHEREAS, the Board also considered the input of its professionals at the hearing and in written reports; and
