Typically, traffic impact studies are performed for new uses that generate 100 or more new trips in an hour, based on the ITE Manual of Transportation Engineering Studies and as required by the NJDOT State Highway Access Management Code All vehicle trips were routed through the adjacent roadway network based on the observed existing roadway distributions of traffic in the neighborhood.
