New Jersey Storm Water BMP Manual Appendix E defines soil permeability classes as follows: Measured Soil Permeability Greater Permeability than (in/hr) Class 20 K5 6-20 K4 2-6 K3 0.6-2 K2 0.2-0.6 K1 Less than 0.2 K0 Based on the field results, the subject soil permeability class is K3 which is very suitable for installation of the proposed seepage pit.
