VEGA INVESTMENTS LLC PROPOSED SITE IMPROVEMENTS BLOCK 134.02 LOTS 75.03, 79, & 81 66 FRANKLIN AVENUE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE ESSEX COUNTY, NEW JERSEY DATE: October 8, 2024 REFERENCE: Preliminary & Final Major Site Plan, prepared by Stonefield Engineering & Design, LLC, dated October 8, 2024 The Applicant is proposing to maintain an existing 1,924 SF commercial building with exterior improvements. The subject property is designated as Block 134.02, Lots 75.03, 79 & 81, commonly known as 66 Franklin Avenue. The site is located within Zone B-1, Retail Business Zone in the Township of West Orange, NJ. The lot is currently bounded by an existing commercial building to the north, Franklin Avenue to the west and existing residential developments to the south and east. The proposed project area is 10,000 SF (0.23 AC) and is currently occupied by an existing commercial building with a gravel parking lot. The project consists of construction of a paved parking lot. Additional site improvements include landscaping, lighting services. The overall disturbance area associated with the project is 10,362 SF (0.24 AC), consisting of the entire subject property, along with some proposed improvements in the right-of-way of Franklin Avenue. This Solid Waste Management Plan has been prepared as required by the Township of West Orange for provisions for handling, storage, and disposal of solid waste and recycled materials. SOLID WASTE: Outside trash maintenance: The owner of the property owns a private hauler, which will manage the on-site collection and transportation of solid waste. The private hauler will ensure regular collection based on the waste generation levels and maintain compliance with all local waste management standards. LIST OF RECYCLABLES Based on the proposed uses on the site, the following is a list of recyclables expected to be generated: • Aluminum Containers • Glass Containers • Corrugated Cardboard • Mixed Paper Products • Newspapers • Plastic Containers
