Reliable Wood (the “Proposal”), and WHEREAS, the Proposal contains certain exceptions and conditions to be examined and evaluated by the Township prior to a determination as to the award of the Contract, and WHEREAS, on or about September 4, 2018, the Township Council adopted Resolution 206-18 which authorized the Township to enter into a Temporary Extension of the Contract until December 31, 2018 to explore revisions to the RFP and the Operations described therein, and WHEREAS, on or about December 11, 2018, the Township Council adopted Resolution 284-18 which authorized the Township to enter into a Second Temporary Extension of the Contract until January 31, 2019 to explore revisions to the RFP and the Operations described therein, and WHEREAS, on or about January 22, 2019, the Township Council adopted Resolution 26-19 which authorized the Township to enter into a Third Temporary Extension of the Contract until February 28, 2019 to explore revisions to the RFP and the Operations described therein, and WHEREAS, a dispute has arisen between Reliable Wood and the Township as to the rent payments during the extension periods; and WHEREAS, the Township requires an additional extension of the current agreement to resolve the dispute before awarding the new Contract; and NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE that the Township is authorized to extend the current Agreement for an additional one-month period before awarding the new
