118-22 April 26, 2022 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange proposes an Engineering Investigation into Frequent Stream Flooding experienced along Park Drive West and North near the boundary with Llewellyn Park; and WHEREAS, to analyze and conduct a field investigation to evaluate stream and pipe system from its confluence with Wigwam Brook upstream to Mountain Avenue including a hydrologic analysis of the stream to establish peak flow rates for various intensity rainfall events, develop conceptual design improvements and a report summarizing the findings of the investigation and the Township requires the services of a professional engineering firm; and WHEREAS, the Township Engineer requested a Proposal for Engineering Services from Jenne Associates, LLC for these professional engineering services; and WHEREAS, Jenne Associates, LLC responded to the Request for Proposal; and WHEREAS, Jenne Associates have performed similar work for the Township on several projects and their work quality is very good; and WHEREAS, by letter dated April 19, 2022 the Township Engineer recommended a professional services contract be awarded to Jenne Associates, LLC, 35 Gates Avenue, Warren, NJ 07059 for a complete engineering analysis; and WHEREAS, sufficient funds exist for the services outlined in the proposal of Jenne Associates, LLC; and WHEREAS, the Township Council concurs in the foregoing. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange, New Jersey that a professional services contract be awarded to Jenne Associates, LLC to provide professional engineering services to analyze and conduct a field investigation to evaluate stream and pipe system from its confluence with Wigwam Brook upstream to Mountain Avenue including a hydrologic analysis of the stream to establish peak flow rates for various intensity rainfall
