137-22 May 24, 2022 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange, County of Essex, State of New Jersey, that the contract for EMERGENCY AND NON EMERGENCY TREE SERVICES in the Township of West Orange, in accordance with the plans and specifications on file in the Engineering Division of the Department of Public Works, dated August 2019, approved by the Township Council, by Resolution No. 263-19 dated November 12, 2019, pursuant to an advertisement duly authorized therefore, awarded to the below named bidders for a one year period commencing January 1, 2020 with an option for two additional one year periods be extended; and WHEREAS, by Resolution 145-21, dated June 22, 2021 the contract was extended for an additional year commencing January 1, 2021; and WHEREAS, by letter dated May 6, 2022 the Municipal Engineer requests the contract be extended for an additional one-year period commencing January 1, 2022 to: RICH TREE SERVICE, INC. 325 BERGEN STREET SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NEW JERSEY 07080 As the lowest responsible bidder SAVATREE, LLC (FORMERLY TREE-TECH, INC.) 550 BEDFORD ROAD BEDFORD HILLS, NY 10507 As the second lowest bidder AND DOWNES TREE SERVICE CO., INC. 65 ROYAL AVENUE HAWTHORNE, NEW JERSEY 07505 As the third lowest bidder Who submitted the lowest responsible bid
