Cohen, P.E., PMP PS&S 3 Mountainview Road Warren, NJ 07059 RE: REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL GINNY DUENKEL MUNICIPAL POOL UNDERWATER LIGHTING, MAIN POOL Dear Mr. Cohen, The Township of West Orange requests a Proposal from your firm to provide plans, specifications and bid documents for the installation of underwater lights at the main pool of the Ginny Duenkel Complex. Please see some schematic plans and manufacturer cut sheets for lights and transformers. The schematic plan shows fifteen lights and approximate locations along with anticipated locations of transformers and splice boxes. A Google Earth map is enclosed showing the main pool and the location of the electrical room. That room has two electrical panels which shall be upgraded as part of the work. Also enclosed is a lighting plan for the Municipal Pool in Florham Park. Iam requesting your proposal by Tuesday, September 13, 2022 with the anticipation of requesting the Township Council award a Professional Services Contract at their September 20, 2022 meeting. I want to bid this contract in October with an award in late October or November so this work can be coordinated with the contractor replastering the pool. Your recent work on plans for the replastering of the main pool and replacement of deck drains makes your firm an ideal one to perform this work.
