Lepore, PE, Municipal Engineer Director of Public Works Re: Proposal for Professional Engineering Services Decommission of Korwel Pump Station for New Gravity Sewer Main Township of West Orange, Essex County, New Jersey Proposal No. 2022-267 Dear Mr. Lepore: We are pleased to submit our proposal for professional land surveying and engineering services for the Decommission of Korwel Pump Station for New Gravity Sewer Main. It is our understating that the Township is seeking to demolish the existing pump station and construct a new gravity sewer main from the pump station location to a new manhole in within the right of way of Northfield Avenue. The project will also include providing new laterals for the connection of lots 14, 14.01 and 59 to the new sanitary sewer main. Lasty, temporary and permanent easements will be required from lot 14.01 for the construction of the gravity main. Based on our review of the RFP provided to our office, the improvements will include the following improvements: 1. Land Surveying Services - the work in this task will include the following: A. Boundary and Topographic Survey for lots 14 (portion of), 14.01, 59.01 and 59 in Block 166 including utilities for decommissioning the pump station and to construct the proposed gravity sewer main; B. Establish horizontal control based on North American Datum 1983 (New Jersey State Plane Coordinate System-NAD 83) and North American Vertical Datum 1988 (NAVD 88); C. Coordination and preparation of temporary construction and/or permanent easements as necessary for the proposed gravity sewer main; D. Preparation of legal descriptions for the temporary construction easements; E.
