Lepore, Municipal Engineer Director of Public Works Re: Proposal for Construction Management Services 2022 Community Development Block Grant Road Rehabilitation of Valley Road —- From Freeman St. to Kingsley St. Road Rehabilitation of Ashwood Terrace and William St. from Franklin Avenue Avenue to Main Street West Orange, Union County, New Jersey Proposal No.: 2022-299 Dear Mr. Lepore: CME Associates is pleased to present our proposal for the design (Civil Engineering and Land Surveying Services) permitting and bid phase services for the above referenced project for the preparation of construction plans, specifications and bid documents for the NJDOT Municipal Aid Grant funded project. Based on the request for proposal our office received, it is our understanding these services will include the reconstruction of the following roadways: 1. Valley Road, From Freeman Street to Kingsley Street A. Curb and Sidewalk repairs B. From Central Avenue to Kingsley Street Decorative Street lighting through Public Service Enterprise Group (PSE&G) for which Consultant will be responsible for coordinating with PSE&G and incorporating red line diagram in the design for Contractor's responsibility to install footing, conduit, junction boxes and supplying all else in conjunction as necessary for PSE&G to install poles and the primary electric service as necessary; Pavement milling and pavement resurfacing Pavement striping New traffic signs as necessary Shade trees as necessary Drainage structures repairs with new frames, grates, curb pieces as necessary.
