SHAUGER PROPERTY SERVICES, INC. : ’ ; ’ To: Joe Elefani, West Orange DPW Date: December 8, 2023 Address: 25 Lakeside Avenue West Orange, NJ 07052 Phone: (973) 495-0100 Email: jelefani@westoran Project Name: 10 Burnett Terrace, West Orange, NJ SCOPE OF WORK - REPAIR OF COLLAPSED SEWER ¢ Repair of a collapsed 8-inch sewer in a backyard easement The work to complete this repair is to excavate by hand and locate the 8-inch sewer pipe When excavating, we will have to. install shoring to protect the retaining wall from being undermined We will use wood shoring ’ The 8-inch sewer pipe is 3 to 4 feet deep; we need at least a 5 feet long by 4 feet wide excavation to get to the pipe ¢ When the pipe is exposed, we will cut and remove the existing clay pipe and install a new 8-inch SDR35 PVC pipe with 2 Fernco pipes ¢ After the repair is complete, we will backfill the excavation with the existing soil and remove the shoring ¢ When backfilling, our crew will use a jumping jack to compact the soil e Restore area e Clean up, removal and disposal of all work-related debris ° — The work is based on a crew of (4) men working (8) hour shifts. Estimated time for this job is (2) 8-hour shifts. ¢ — Any work beyond this timeframe due to any unforeseen circumstances will be charged on a T&M basis. Our proposal/budget to complete this work is: 513,979,97 EXCLUSIONS: e Rock Excavation ¢ — Disposal of Contaminated Materials * Unforeseen Utility Obstructions ¢ — Any work not specifically identified in this proposal All rates are based on union labor being carried out during regular working hours requested (overtime work excluded). Any and all work not specified in this proposal is not included. This proposal is budget estimate only. All work will be tracked on a time & material basis. Certified payroll records to be provided if applicable. This proposal is valid for 30 days. The above project will be scheduled upon receipt of this signed proposal and the availability of material. Client is to provide all plans, specifications and permit(s), if needed. All pricing excludes New Jersey Sales Tax. The purchaser shall provide an applicable tax exempt form.
