Scope of Services | Page 5 F. We assume design of minor drainage improvements as necessary. Should substantial drainage upgrades be required, this proposal will be amended. G. New manhole castings as necessary, repair manholes as required and new catch basin frames, grates, curb piece, rebuild inlets as required. H. We will coordinate with West Orange Traffic Bureau and will prepare detour plans each roadway closure, as needed. Detour plans will depict detour routes with signage on to local and or County roadways as required for the roadway milling and resurfacing operations. I. All design criteria will comply with the current NJDOT and MUTCD specifications. J. We will prepare a complete set of specifications. K. A final Engineer’s Estimate of Construction will also be prepared. L. All plans and specifications will be in accordance with New Jersey Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, and we will submit them for review by the NJDOT Local Aid Office. M. We will prepare and submit twenty (20) sets of Contract Documents. Assumptions 1. Full project length will be mill and overlay. No change to existing profile or cross-slopes. 2. Proposal excludes modifications or upgrades to street lighting or traffic signal equipment. 3. Rooney Circle to be base mapped via tax map and supplemented with survey as necessary. 4. Partial or full curb and sidewalk replacement assumed for Walker Road and S. Valley Road. 5. GPI will rely on Township to request utility mark-outs. 6. GPI assumes all railing, guide rails, steps, retaining wall or landscape walls will remain as-is. Replacement of these features is not anticipated and is excluded from this proposal.
