2837-24 LEGISLATIVE HISTORY This Ordinance is in response to requests from handicapped residents who reside at 77 Harrison Avenue, 153 Randolph Place and 1 Tompkins Street. By adopting this Ordinance, the Township will establish a handicapped parking stall adjacent to each of these addresses. In the case of 1 Tompkins Street, the designated space will be on Mitchell Street at the side of the house, since there is a No Parking Zone directly in front. Such parking stalls are permissible under the laws of New Jersey, and they are designated as Restricted Parking Zones. Additionally, 5 Township residents notified our office that their existing restricted parking stalls were no longer needed because they have moved. The signs in front of each residence will be removed, and the locations removed from the Revised General Ordinances.
