133-24 April 9, 2024 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange (the “Township”) seeks to provide Grant Funds to Luna Stage Co., L.L.C., (“Luna Stage”) to support its efforts to provide arts education through such programs as its Youth Creative Response Team, its Valley Stories Youth Theatre, and its Studio Luna Theatre Classes; and WHEREAS, the Township seeks to provide a grant in the amount of eight thousand dollars ($8,000) to Luna Stage to these Arts education programs; and WHEREAS, Luna and the Township have agreed to the terms of a Grant Agreement, annexed hereto as Exhibit “A” providing that the grant funds are to be used towards the provision of arts education programs and that Luna Stage will provide a report to the Township as to how the grant funds were utilized. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange that the Township is hereby authorized to issue a grant in the amount of eight thousand dollars ($8,000) to Luna Stage towards the provision of arts education programs in 2024; and be if further RESOLVED, that the Mayor be and is hereby authorized to execute Grant Agreement annexed hereto as Exhibit “A” and the Township Clerk be and is hereby authorized to attest to the Mayor’s signature; and be it further RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution shall be made available in the Clerk's Office for reasonable inspection in accordance with applicable law.
