2845-24 LEGISLATIVE HISTORY The Ordinance, which amends the Traffic Regulations of the Township, establishes a No Parking Zone in front of 14 High Street. The street area in front of this home is too narrow to park a vehicle safely. Due to the premium on parking spaces in the area, large vehicles are parking illegally and blocking residential driveways. Additionally, this Ordinance responds to requests from handicapped residents who reside at 14 Washington Street, 16 Llewellyn Avenue and 77 Kirk Street. By adopting this Ordinance, the Township will establish handicapped parking stalls adjacent to these addresses. Such parking stalls are permissible under the laws of New Jersey, and they are designated as Restricted Parking Zones. These stalls are still subject to other parking regulations and prohibitions on their streets.
