Company History and Organization Sterling Securities was incorporated in the State of New Jersey, 2006. Sterling Securities is a local security contract company. Our main offices are in Essex County, allowing the owners of the company and top level managers to be immediately available to answer client concerns and resolve problems as they occur. As you will see as you read this proposal, we are innovative, aggressive in our attempts to obtain the goals we have defined, always seeking further knowledge, and always challenged. Sterling presently has approximately 500 Officers, along with 36 Supervisors. Ownership consists of two (2) principles who are both retired Police Officers (Lieutenant) in the City of Newark. During their combined 40 years of experience, both owners have been assigned to several high profile units during their careers. Some of which being, Homicide Units, Robbery Units, Vehicle Theft Units, Major Crimes Division, Tactical Units, and Narcotic Units. This experience has assisted in designing a Security Company with the same belief and trademarks that a Police Department uses to run effectively. We have established our company in such a way where our clients feel comfortable in dealing with Sterling, knowing that no matter what issue may arise, Sterling will handle it professionally. During our seventeen (17) years of business, we have grown to be one of NJ's premier Security Companies. At Sterling we are very proud to say that our track record stands by itself. We have NEVER been replaced by any other Security Company, nor have we EVER lost an account due to poor service. Sterling's belief is basically two simple MAIN reasons for our success. - THE QUALITY OF GUARDS - OWNERS CONSTANT 'HANDS-ON' APPROACH WITH EVERY ISSUE.

Value Added Feature Sterling Securities currently has over 130 accounts in the State of New Jersey As retired Police Officers/Police Lieutenants, we have grown a relationship with the surrounding Police Departments. Our communication is on a daily schedule with the Police Departments, making notifications, requesting extra Police presence, or gathering intelligence that can better our company as well as our clients. This relationship starts at the bottom with the actual Police Officers and works its way to top levels of each agency. Sterling Securities has grown to the extent where it can compete successfully for a contract of any size. A smaller company would not have the flexibility, quality of training and ability to offer such a wide range of services. The larger national companies tend to be less efficient, and do not have the responsiveness and personal commitment as our locally- owned company. We offer the best of both worlds.

Page 41

Development and Retention of Personnel Sterling Securities has always had a low turnover rate. For years the fact of no unjustified turnover is directly reflected in our low unemployment insurance rates, In addition to our higher pay rates, our Officers are also concerned with challenging work, personal and growth opportunities, and flexibility. There are many opportunities for pay raises & promotions Our health insurance, and sick time policy helps promote a healthy worker. Every Officer is motivated by different things, thus retention strategies need to be tailored to each individual Officer. This starts ata Management level in which managers can speak to Officers and find out what would make this Officer happy, healthy, and an asset to this company. Most of all Officers issues usually are of a personal’ issue broughtto work. Whether its divorce, money issues, health issues, etc., support and flexibility is always present by our managersand owners, its seems to go a long way. Our Officers know that our door is always open, and no Officer is turned away. Sterling's practice is to always help Officers stay with our company. To plan a career with our company. At Sterling, we guide our employees in mapping out how they can attain their career goals within the company.
