Training Top concern & highest priority! It is a recognized fact that training is a vital determinant in ensuring effective job performance. Therefore, training has always been of top concern and highest priority to Sterling Securities and a large portion of corporate resources are spent in providing continuous training for Sterling Securities employees. Every sight requires different training; therefore, each sight has its own specified training program. In addition to the mandatory training held at our office, every Officer is trained on sight and must receive in- service training. Before starting any new account that Sterling is awarded, it is mandatory that all Officers assigned to that particular site, must complete on site training for several days before even starting. This is to assure that all Officers do exactly what is required and are ready for any issue that may arise right from the inception. Of course all Officers must attend a re-certification process every two (2) years for their S.O.R.A certification as well.

Computer Management System Sterling is always looking to improve business by being up to date on all systems and technology where all can benefit. For the past eight (10) years, Sterling has utilized a system which is commonly known in the Security Industry as "Valiant". This systemeasily assists in scheduling, payroll, and billing. Withonly approved users, we can easily obtain any information from any computer, This is especially helpful when a quick change needs to be made for whatever may arise. (Call-outs, shift changes, etc.) Where this system helps the most is when any client requests special coverage with short notice, This system automatically draws a pool of available officers that can be utilized. Although our entire Management team can easily handle such a request without this system due to their personal knowledge and familiarity of all Officers, itis great to have this available for back-up purposes.

Communication Plan Sterling is one of the few Security Services that actually has its own repeater system. Our hand held radio communicators have a range of approximately 50 miles. Every Officer that would be assigned to THESE SITES would be in possession of a walkie-talkie. Not only would they be able to communicate with any additional guard working at this site which would be on a separate channel, but at any time can notify any other Sterling Officer working that may assist them for any incident that may arise. On each shift, there are atleast 4 supervisors working in the immediate area. If an incident occurs in which the Police, Fire, or EMS must be notified, Our Office Dispatcher will immediately respond via radio and assist in making notifications.
