7 Legislative History The purpose of this ordinance is to modify the Township of West Orange’s requirements for film permits based upon the proposed requirements and fee schedules proposed and recommended by the New Jersey Motion Picture and Television Development Commission as part of the statewide “NJ Film Ready Community” program identifying municipalities within the State of New Jersey welcoming of the filming of movies and television.
