Bureau of Case Assignment &Initial Notice Re: Vapor Intrusion Investigation Report West Orange DPW 25 Lakeside Ave 1.0 April 2023 Page 5 GENERAL INFORMATION The Township of West Orange (Client) retained CME Associates (CME) to provide environmental consulting services associated with remedial investigation (RI) and Remedial Action (RA) at the West Orange Department of Public Works (DPW) located at 25 Lakeside Avenue in the Township of West Orange, Essex County, New Jersey (Site). A VI investigation was previously completed in 2014 and the results were presented in the 2016 RIR prepared by T&M. The sampling included the collection of four (4) sub-slab soil gas, two (2) indoor air, and one (1) ambient air samples for EPA TO-15 analysis. Recently, a Preliminary Assessment was conducted at the Site and a Site Investigation was completed at all the identified additional areas of concern (AOCs) at the Site. Additional Vapor Intrusion Evaluation and sampling was recommended for AOC-22 (AOC-22: Vapor Intrusion (VI)) in accordance with established NJDEP Vapor Intrusion Guidance. Site Information: A.
