DAVID ALIA Construction Administration Professional Qualifications David Alia has more than seven years’ experience focusing on construction inspections and geotechnical investigations including environmental oversight, environmental assessment and demolition and remediation projects under NJDEP, NYCDEP and NYSDEC jurisdiction for industrial, residential and commercial facilities. David’s experience includes, but is not limited to, surface and groundwater sampling, temporary and monitoring well installations, soil classification, management and processing of sample laboratory analyses. David has also assisted in the administrative collection of submittals and invoices as well as the preparation of various geotechnical and environmental technical reports including Geotechnical Investigation Reports, Phase I&II Site Remediation Assessments, Preliminary Assessments, Site Investigations, and Remedial Investigations throughout New Jersey and New York. David is also experienced in using various field instruments for monitoring and sampling levels of contamination. Professional Experience City of Orange Spray Park Repairs – Construction Administrator responsible for document control and onsite inspections of various project construction milestones. Former Undynamic Facility, Roseland, NJ – Staff engineering responsible for monitoring well installation, sampling and development, post investigation reporting and analysis to assist in the development of a sitespecific impact to groundwater soil remediation standards for contaminated chlorinated VOCs in groundwater, and development of a cleanup plan for both soils and groundwater. Former work completed at the site by others identified the site consists of a chlorinated solvent groundwater plume stemming from two known source areas, as well as shallow on-site soil contamination.
