One unique design feature was the redesign of an honorary plaques for fallen firefighters. The final design of this National Historic Landmark project met the requirements of the Philadelphia Historical Commission, the Philadelphia Arts Commission, the Philadelphia Water Department, Philadelphia Department of Licenses & Inspections, PennDOT and Section 17-11 of the Philadelphia Code. • New Jersey Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects, Past President • New Jersey Recreation and Park Association Jackson Park Inclusive Playground Hendersonville, NC From concept to construction, we worked with the county to produce an inclusive playground suitable for all ages and abilities. A permeable rubber safety service was utilized. Slides were built onto the hillside to take advantage of the existing grade changes. Covered shade structures were provided along with a variety of play opportunities.
