210-25 September 30, 2025 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 the Township received bids for the contract “2025- 2026 Snow Plowing, Salting, Removal and Snow Hauling Re-bid” from two contractors: Grabowski Construction, Inc. of 770 Northfield Avenue, West Orange, NJ and Shauger Property Services, Inc. of 429 Dodd Street, East Orange, NJ; and WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works recommends the following award of contracts per the attached Schedule A; and WHEREAS, funding for this service is available in the 2025 operating budget and will be available in the 2026 operating budget; and WHEREAS, the Township Council concurs in the foregoing. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange that a contract be awarded for plowing and salting routes to Grabowski Construction of West Orange, NJ with a not to exceed $100,000.00 as per the attached Schedule A and award Shauger Property Services, Inc. of East Orange, NJ as per the attached Schedule A for equipment upon request for plowing and removal, loading and hauling with a not to exceed $45,000.00.
