Upon assembly orders, the Township reserves the right to place contract tractors, equipment, or personnel on stand-by rate on location or during the course of any storm when it is determined to interrupt snow removal operations and then resume shortly thereafter at the discretion of the Superintendent of Public Works or his designee. 28. All vehicle operators to have proper operator’s licenses for the vehicle. This includes a valid New Jersey CDL when needed. 29. 30. The contractor shall be responsible for repairing all damage caused by the operation of his/her equipment during the performance of this contract. This includes but is not limited to curbs, sidewalks, lawn areas, driveways, mailboxes and road pavement.
