Show all pagesProject Profile Mendham Township MS4 Mapping Mendham Township, New Jersey In accordance with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) New Jersey Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NJPDES) MS4 Tier A permit requirements, the maintenance and upkeep of stormwater management features is required. In order to comply with the MS4 permit requirements, an inventory of municipal stormwater systems must be completed. French & Parrello Associates (FPA) was retained and tasked with completing the inventory in compliance with NJDEP requirements which includes the locating and mapping of outfalls, ground water discharge points, interconnections, inlets, stormwater manholes, stormwater conveyance systems, pump stations, and other stormwater facilities. Utilizing ArcGIS Field maps in conjunction with web mapping applications deployed in ArcGIS Enterprise, 45.2 miles of conveyance, 2,169 inlets, 86 outfalls, 51 manholes, 275 groundwater discharge points, 34 stormwater basins, and 86 culverts were mapped for Mendham Township. A web mapping application was configured to allow township staff to conduct inspections of the municipality’s outfalls. This project is still ongoing.
