Project Profile Pohatcong Township MS4 Mapping Pohatcong Township, New Jersey In accordance with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) New Jersey Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NJPDES) MS4 Tier A permit requirements, the maintenance and upkeep of stormwater management features is required. In order to comply with the MS4 permit requirements, an inventory of municipal stormwater systems must be completed. French and Parrello Associates (FPA) was retained and tasked with completing the inventory in compliance with NJDEP requirements which includes the locating and mapping of outfalls, ground water discharge points, interconnections, inlets, stormwater manholes, stormwater conveyance systems, pump stations, and other stormwater facilities. Utilizing ArcGIS Field maps in conjunction with web mapping applications deployed in ArcGIS Enterprise, 7.73 miles of conveyance, 393 inlets, 74 outfalls, 13 manholes, 5 groundwater discharge points, 5 stormwater basins, and 130 culverts were mapped for Pohatcong Township.
