Betz, PE, BCEE, CME Director of Infrastructure environmental and regulatory permitting assistance, public bidding assistance, and construction phase engineering services inclusive of administration and inspection services. Mr. Betz assists the City with capital project planning, budgeting, and implementation. Furthermore, he assists with the review of developer applications for compliance with City, County, State, and industry standards and providing compliance inspections for Board applications and capital projects. Mr. Betz helped the City plan and create their Municipal Stormwater Utility, which is one of the first in the State, and he continues to support them with Tier A MS4 permit compliance and coordination with NJDEP and USEPA. This role affords Mr. Betz and FPA the opportunity to provide survey, engineering, environmental and construction management, and inspection services for this bustling city with a population of more than 55,000, which is also a commercial hub in central New Jersey and home to Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and several major hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and is also known as one of the state’s and region’s leading hubs for research and innovation. Municipal Engineering Services Chatham Borough, New Jersey Assistant Borough Engineer responsible for providing municipal engineering services and assistance to the Borough on an as-needed basis related to budgeting, planning, funding assistance, capital improvement projects involving water, roadway, streetscape, and stormwater improvements, and professional review for the Borough Planning and Zoning Boards. City Engineering Department Special Consultant City of New Brunswick, New Jersey Principal-in-charge of the team who supported the City’s in-house City Engineering Department. Supported capital project needs including CADD, design, permitting, bidding and construction phase engineering services. Our team assisted with capital project budgeting and implementation supporting projects that included stormwater management, traffic and transportation, sanitary sewer system, parks and other city infrastructure.
