277-25 December 9, 2025 R E S O L U T I O N RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange, County of Essex, State of New Jersey, that the EMERGENCY TREE SERVICES 2026 in the Township of West Orange, in accordance with the specifications filed in the Purchasing Office dated October 2025, approved by the Township Council, pursuant to an advertisement duly authorized therefore, be and the same are hereby awarded to the below named bidders for a one (1) year period with an option for an additional two (2) one (1) year periods: RICH TREE SERVICE, INC. 325 BERGEN STREET SOUTH PLAINFIELD, N.J. 07080 As the lowest responsible bidder SAVATREE 1248 SUSSEX TURNPIKE MT. FREEDOM, NJ 07970 As the second lowest bidder who submitted the only responsive bids. Attached is a summary spread sheet with each bidder’s prices. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this award is subject to the 2026 Budget Appropriation for contractual tree services and that the authorization to perform the work specified is contingent upon the execution of a valid purchase order between the Township and the vendor(s) prior to the commencement of the work.
