2 contract and specifications prepared by Township of West Orange Department of Engineering, 25 Lakeside Avenue, West Orange, New Jersey. and WHEREAS, on June 23, 2026, Contractor submitted the lowest bid for the combined base bid and alternate bid at an amount totaling $881,281.00, a copy of Contractor’s bid submission is annexed hereto as Exhibit “B.” NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing and of the mutual covenants hereinafter stated, the parties do hereby agree as follows: 1. WORK TO BE PERFORMED Contractor shall provide the services, including the Base Bid, set forth in the Bid Specifications pursuant to the terms, conditions, and requirements as set forth therein and annexed hereto as Exhibit “A,” and incorporated by reference herein. To the extent of any inconsistency between the Contractor’s Bid Submission and the Bid Specifications, the Bid Specifications shall govern as to that inconsistency over the Contractor’s Bid Submission. 2. CONSIDERATION The Township shall compensate the Contractor as follows: $881,281.00 pursuant to the Contractor’s Bid Submission, annexed hereto as Exhibit “B,” and incorporate by reference herein. 3. PAYMENT Payment shall be made by the Township within thirty (30) days of the receipt and approval of itemized bills and vouchers. No payments may be made in advance of services pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:5-16.
