Show all pagesSECTION 606 SIDEWALKS, DRIVEWAYS, AND ISLANDS 606.01 DESCRIPTION THE FOLLOWING IS ADDED: This section shall also include the requirements for the installation or resetting of Modular Paver Units. The work includes bedding preparation, paver installation, edge restraint, and joint fill. Pay items under this section shall include TOPSOILING 4” THICK, FERTILIZING & SEEDING, TYPE AIII AND STRAW MULCHING restoration of adjacent grassed areas disturbed by construction in accordance with section 804, 806 & 809. THE FOLLOWING IS ADDED/AMENDED TO THIS SECTION FOR ADA SOLUTIONS, INC. ADATILE CAST IN PLACE TRUNCATED DOME DETECTABLE WARNING SYSTEM (OR APROVED EQUAL): This Section describes the requirements for constructing concrete sidewalks, driveways, and islands and ADA Solutions, Inc. ADATILE (or approved equal) detectable warning surface. This section also describes the requirements for surveying and providing lines, grades, elevations and reference marks necessary to construct elements of construction and to provide an as-built survey to verify compliance with the construction plans and Proposed Accessibility Guidelines for Pedestrian Facilities in the Public ROW - July 26, 2011 - aka ADA guidelines. 606.02 MATERIALS 606.02.01 Materials THE FOLLOWING IS ADDED: In addition to all materials listed in the section, material for the following items shall include: • RESET PAVERS: o Edge restraints for concrete pavers to be are to be aluminum and have dimensions 3/16” x 2- 1/4” x 8’-0” stabilized with alumni stakes or as proposed system of equal or similar size and equal material to be approved. Materials and installation procedures as indicated in the manufacturer’s specifications. The cost for this work shall be covered under the unit price. o The sand to be used as joint fill shall be structural sand blended with non-toxic, psyllium based stabilized sand product. Materials and mixing procedures shall be as indicated in the manufacturer’s specifications. The cost for this work shall be included in the unit price. o DGABC in accordance with section 901.10. o Stone Dust (No. I-10 Aggregate) in accordance with section 901.11 o Sand (Designation I-8) in accordance with section 901.11 o Soil Separator Fabric in
