Show all pagesA motion to approve was made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Council President Krakoviak, Bond Ordinance Providing For Various 2025 Capital Acquisitions And Improvements, By And In The Township Of West Orange, In The County Of Essex, State Of New Jersey, Appropriating $635,000 Therefor And Authorizing The Issuance Of $605,600 Bonds Or Notes Of The Township To Finance Part Of The Cost Thereof Councilwoman Casalino, Councilwoman Ghebremicael and Council President Krakoviak voting “Aye.” Councilwoman Rudin and Councilwoman Scarpa voting “Nay.” The motion FAILED. Ord. 2918-25 On motion made by Councilwoman Rudin and seconded by Councilwoman Scarpa, An Ordinance Amending And Supplementing Chapter 25, Section 29 Of The Revised General Ordinances Of The Township Of West Orange Based On Recommendations Of The New Jersey Stormwater Best Management Practices Manual, was approved on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading after Planning Board Review. All members present voting “Aye.” Pending Matters/New Matters/Council Discussion e A Proposed Ordinance on Increasing Transparency to Include the following: Information on Litigation Involving the Municipality Public Comment at Council Meetings Website Posting of Annual Debt Statements and Supplement Debt Statements Details of Debt Issuance Public Safety Blotter Bill List Council Email Address OS A WIN A motion was made by Council President Krakoviak and seconded by Councilwoman Scarpa to add the above referenced ordinance to an upcoming agenda after the Law Department reviews and formats. All members present voting “Aye.” Councilwoman Rudin explained that she wanted to place a revised version of the Noise Ordinance on the next Council agenda. The Clerk explained that Legal will need time to review and format the Ordinance, so the ordinance may not go on the next agenda, but the one after that A motion was made by Councilwoman Rudin and seconded by Councilwoman Scarpa to add the Noise ordinance to an upcoming agenda.
